WealthMarc was established by its Rick Akdagcik in 2009. His credentials, skills and desire to empower all Australians to be financially independent were the driving factors for the initial step in setting up one of Australia's premier wealth adviser firms.

Guy Halpin joined WealthMarc Advisory Group in 2012 following several years in the financial services industry. Guy's focus and commitment is an extension of the core values of WealthMarc.

Guy's commerce background and expertise as a financial columnist/educator empower clients with the knowledge required in making educated and informed decisions.

In 2014 Guy become a director of WealthMarc Advisory Group.

In 2018 Guy completed the education requirements to become an accredited mortgage consultant so he can provide mortgage solutions for clients.

Rick decided to pursue other interests outside of financial planning in late 2018. Soon after Guy became the sole director and owner of the company.
